Melfast can furnish virtually any studs & rods you can imagine. These are a sample of the kinds of studs & rods we typically distribute

Full Thread Studs

This fastener is designed for maximum strength and durability. Made from solid metal and forged as a single unit, full thread studs provide the support required for applications in railroad construction, water treatment, modular buildings, and steel fabrication. Melfast offers a wide range of sizes--from 4-40 to 2.00"--formed in several materials and platings. From stainless steel to brass, titanium and alloy, with zinc, cadmium or galvanized platings, our full thread studs outlast the competition.

Threaded Rod

This is a type of metal fasteners that has threads cut into both ends. A threaded rod basically resembles the shank of a screw, but is thicker and longer. These rods can act as a pin and can be used to join two materials such as metal and wood together. Its design also allows it to hang sheet metal ducts within a building. Threaded rods are favored by many contractors and builders, and are widely used in the construction of homes, building structures and furniture.

Double Ended Stud / Special Stud

A special stud provides similar function to a full thread stud, with the exception of a unthreaded portion in the center of the rod. Melfast offers special studs in various lengths and diameters, formed in stainless steel, alloy, steel, titanium and brass. Platings provide greater durability in certain applications, and matching nuts complete this fastener combination. A special stud may also be called a stud bolt.
